Mystical Maggie Mae
Maggie was born November 23, 2006 at Sawdust Saints in Lapeer Michigan.
She is the blood sister of Bianca. Becky, of Sawdust Saints
called one evening asking if we would be willing to take in another
Gentle Giant. After listening to her while she explained Maggie's
dilemma, we just couldn't not say no.
So after talking to Maggie's former owner, we made the 6 hour round trip
to Southern Indiana to pick up this little lady. She weighed in
at 94 pounds when we picked her up. After several trips to the
Doctors office and some TLC she now weighs in at 127.5 pounds. She
still has a little more to go before she is at her normal weight, but
she is progressing well and is just a bundle of love and joy. She
has to be by our sides all the time. That is when she's not
chasing Bianca around the yard and finding a mud puddle to play in.
